GBM Architecture is a general Architectural practice, operating from offices located in the heart of Norwich City centre, Norfolk. Since our establishment in 1988, the practice has attracted a broad range of continuing local, national and international clients from both the Public and Private sector. The practice is registered with the Royal Institute of British Architects and the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists. As such we aim to combine the qualities of both institutes to produce architecture that is not only well designed, but also technically sound and which takes into account budget constraints. The practice has an extensive portfolio of residential projects including individual houses, and is able to offer practical advice and guidance to those wishing to build their own home. We are the local member of Associated Self Build Architects, which is a national network of Chartered Architects specialising in the design of one-off houses. We have considerable experience of working with historic buildings for both private clients and public sector, parochial church councils etc. David Bonner is included in the Norwich Diocese list of approved architects. He is also included in the register of Architects Acredited in Building Conservation (AABC). GBM Architecture is also able to offer CDM Coordinator services under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007. We are a member of the Association for Project Safety. The practice is a member of the Norfolk ProHelp, an initiative of Business in the Community, the aims of which are to provide voluntary and community groups with access to professional advice - which they may not otherwise be able to afford and which can make the difference between success or failure of a project. |
